Add a client and a project, then track your first hour. Everything else in Cesium builds on those.
You log time to a project, and every project belongs to a client. Tasks are optional.
Who pays the bill
The scope of work
Optional
Time you worked
The entity you are billing.
Link it to the client.
Optional. Split a project to see hours by task.
Not everything is billed by the hour. A project can also bill per unit (pages, photos, screens), by a fixed fee with milestones, or on a retainer - a recurring amount with an optional hours allowance. Set it in the client's Billing Settings; a fixed fee is set on the project.
For work you are doing now. The timer sits at the top of every page.
For catching up at the end of the day or week. Use Log Time on Track.
On a phone, a page's tabs fold into one button.
The button shows the current tab plus a small "more" hint. Tap it to open a bottom sheet listing every tab, then tap your destination.
The button shows the open tab's count, or another tab's when the open tab has none.
A quick sideways swipe on the page moves to the next or previous tab.
Once you have an account, the support form is in Help and attaches the details below. Until then, write to us through the contact form.
The form lists the details it sends with your message: the app version, the page you were on, your browser and its system, the window size, your time zone, your connection, your plan and the last few errors Cesium noticed, with personal details removed. Switch "Attach these details" off to send your message alone.
Add one picture. It is shrunk, and its hidden details, such as location, are removed before it leaves your computer. Only our support team sees it, and it is deleted 30 days after we close the conversation.
We aim to reply to every message within one business day. Each gets a reference, like S-7K2QXM, shown when it is sent and in our emails; quote it when you write back.
When something fails - a page that will not load, a change that will not save, a crash - Report This sits beside Try Again, and Report beside a failed save's Retry. It opens the support form over the page with the failure attached, and what you were doing stays where it was.
